VANCOUVER, BC – September 27th, 2013 – FMA Entertainment is pleased to announce an exciting pre-holiday event for Vancouver, FMA REDDOT Shopping Weekwhich will be held from November 23rd to 28th, 2013.
FMA REDDOT Shopping Weekis designed to encourage consumers to explore their local shopping hubs and discover some of the unique retailers available here in Vancouver. The REDDOT Shopping WeekCampaign will highlight 5 key shopping districts within the Greater Vancouver Area just in time for the holiday spending spree. The event will support the Vancouver retail and hospitality industry by creating a shopping experience to consumers in Vancouver’s distinct shopping neighborhoods with special store events and sales throughout the week.
This fun and exciting initiative will kick off with a Launch Pad Party in each district as a meeting point for shoppers who will then be sent off to explore that area’s various charms. Shoppers will be able to navigate each district’s area and stores with a unique mobile app.
The fun doesn’t just stop at your traditional retailers. This shopping event includes art galleries, hair salons, spas, furniture stores, car dealerships and even real estate agencies. To encouraging overnight stays during the shopping week, REDDOT Shopping Week organizers are working with our community partner Tourism Vancouver to coordinate special hotel rates for the shopping week.

Participating retailers and partners will be working with REDDOT Shopping Week to help raise funds and awareness for the Tapestry Foundation in support of The Rapid Access Breast Clinic at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital. The Clinic is one of the largest clinics in the province providing screening mammography, diagnostic imaging and specialized breast surgery services.
This unique platform launches on November 23rd with their opening Media and VIP reception and Holt Renfrew shopping night, followed by 5 district event days.
Launch Pad Party at distract flagship store – Includes one-hour reception during the early afternoon within the featured district where consumers can pick up an information handout complete with shopping location flyers, shopping passports and gifts.
FMA REDDOT Shopping – November 24 to November 28
Retailers are promoted in the FMA REDDOT Shopping Week List and offer discounts or gift with purchases to consumers. Some may open the doors late for their own in store events with food, drinks, special small fashion shows, celebrity hosting.
FMA REDDOT Art Exhibition – November 24 to November 28
Select art galleries will host exhibitions showcased throughout the city to support FMA REDDOT Shopping Week and partner charity.
